Sorry!

Ok, my sincere apologies for not blogging for such a long time.  We had midterms last week and then this week I ended up getting really sick and was bed-ridden for two days.  Now I’ve been playing catch up in my classes since I missed school for two days.  We had a “plague” going on in the dorms.  It was a stomach 24-hour like flu.  About ten people caught the plague, me never thinking I would be one of them when the outbreak first started.  I distinctly remember these words coming out of my mouth, “I’m not worried, I never get sick”.  The next morning I woke up throwing up.  I guess I forgot to knock on wood when those words came out of my mouth.  But I’m all better now, done with midterms and ready to continue with blogging!

I have realized that we only have about 4 weeks left here in Cortona.  It has made me really want to take advantage of everything here.  Its funny how you can be in a place for such a long time, then when you realize that its not going to be there any more, you really begin to take advantage of things.

But I have definitely been looking forward to some things when I get back to to the states.  I have begun to get extremely tired with my wardrobe.  I have had the same clothes here for this entire time, and I really am needing some variety!  When I get home, I am going shopping for sure.  I also am getting a hair cut.  I think I’m realizing that long hair is not for me.  I was trying to grow it out, but I am just continually frustrated with it, and I think I want to go back to having it short.  I also can’t wait to eat healthy again.  Fiber, vegetables and Starbucks!  That is what I want.  Ok, so enough of me ranting on about what Im doing when I get home…

We have begun planning our traveling for after the semester is over!  I’m very excited to see other parts of Europe.  We will be traveling for about 4 weeks.  Some of the places we are going:  Venice, Paris, Dublin, Barcelona, Prague, Salzburg (Sound of Music tour, yessss!) Munich and some other I can’t think of right now, and I fly out of London on December 17.  We will be getting a Euro rail pass and traveling by train.  I’m so excited.

This Wednesday we are going to Perugia for their annual chocolate festival!  I am soo excited!  I love festivals, and I absolutely LOVE chocolate, so I think that it will be great.  This city is famous for their chocolate, and it is supposedly some of the best in the world.  I will let you all know how it goes!

I'm glad you're feeling better! I can't believe you're almost done with your semester! I'm so excited to see you - we have to hang out... and go to starbucks :) You're going to have so much fun traveling around for a month! Prague and Paris are 2 of my fav places - both beautiful and wonderful in their own ways. I'll look forward to hearing what you think. Love you, friend.
